The Office of the Registrar at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has announced the reassignment of several Senior Members across various administrative and academic units of the University. The exercise forms part of ongoing efforts to enhance institutional efficiency, promote experience sharing, and strengthen administrative support across the University’s colleges, directorates, and divisions.
The reassignments affect Senior Members serving within the Registrar’s Offices and other administrative units.
Among those reassigned are Mrs. Juliana Serwaa Andoh, who moves from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources to the School of Graduate Studies, and Mr. Charles Asamoah Boateng, formerly of the Admissions Office, who now joins the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Mr. Matthew Amoako transitions from the GUSSS to the Admissions Office, while Mr. James Oberko moves from the Alumni and Advancement Office to GUSSS.
In related changes, Ms. Anita Akua Kyerewaa Kuma has been reassigned from Media and Events, University Relations Office (URO) to the Alumni and Advancement Office, while Mr. Kwasi Debrah, formerly Head of Digital Communications, now takes up a new role at Media and Events, URO.
Other key reassignments include Mr. Ebenezer Tetteh Otieku (from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences to General Administration), Ms. Ida Saeed (from the College of Engineering to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences), and Dr. Paul Kwadwo Addo (from the Directorate of Students’ Affairs to the College of Engineering).
Mr. Daniel Kumi-Djan has been transferred from General Administration to the Obuasi Campus, while Ms. Victoria De-graft Johnson moves from KCC to the Directorate of Students’ Affairs.
Further, Mr. Paul Pinnaman Adade joins the TCC–CIMET from Obuasi Campus, and Mr. Festus Nyame moves from the KNUST School of Business to the Human Resource Development Division.
Ms. Benedicta Kwakye transitions from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences to the KNUST School of Business, while Mr. Kofi Adu takes up a new role at the School of Veterinary Medicine after serving at the Examinations Office. Ms. Amanda Owusu Asare, formerly with General Administration, now joins the Examinations Office.
Additional movements include Ms. Felicia Amakwah’s posting to the University Library, Mrs. Janet Ampah’s transfer from the Library to the Finance Office, and Ms. Helena Asante’s reassignment from the Finance Office to the Human Resource Development (Support Services) Unit.
Mr. Anthony Kuufare moves from HRD (Training & Development) to the Faculty of Social Sciences, while Mr. Joseph Agyemang transitions from the School of Veterinary Medicine to the Faculty of Biosciences. Ms. Gladys Abla Addai moves from the Faculty of Biosciences to the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, and Mr. Isaac Nyamekye Yamoah takes up a new position at HRD (Training & Development) after serving at HRD (Support Services).
The Registrar, in communicating the reassignments, emphasized that the changes are part of the University’s continuous efforts to broaden staff exposure, optimize human resource utilization, and enhance administrative coordination across the institution.
